NOW WE KNOW does not view affordability and economic diversity as competing objectives. Our strategy seeks to create neighborhoods that contain an appropriate mix of deeply affordable housing where subsidies make it sustainable, workforce housing, attainable and market-rate housing, and homeownership opportunities.
The right mix is determined block by block, in partnership with residents, public agencies, and financing partners — not by a fixed formula.
